The Matterhorn Turns 50

Sunday was the 50th anniversary of the Matterhorn Bobsled ride at Disneyland. It is still the only Disney Matterhorn ever built. You can't say that about other mountains like Thunder, Space, and Splash.

I finally got around to checking out the new features that will come out with Windows 7. There was a nice little video on the home page that outlined some of the biggest features. They were a new taskbar, preview page, Windows Touch, new home networking, and device pages. I have words 11 for Bill. Dock, F9, Multi-Touch, System Preferences > Networking, and any Finder window. Plus the Flip4Mac video that Microsoft had on their site sucked!

Disneyland has enhanced many of their nighttime entertainment options this year. The nighttime entrainment will include the TLT Dance Club (Tomorrowland Terrace), nighttime enhancements to Pixie Hollow, and a new head float for the Electrical Parade. Fantasmic will also get HD projectors, new characters, and a brand spanking new REALLY big dragon. What I'm pissed about is that they are replacing the old fireworks show. The new show is called Magical. It will feature a new soundtrack, and Dumbo? That can't be good. The "magic" starts on June 12.
